Pawtucket Hall of Fame Announces 2024 Inductees & Person of the Year

The Pawtucket Hall of Fame Committee was established as part of the Centennial Celebration to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Pawtucket as a city. Over the years, this volunteer-driven organization has consistently recognized individuals whose efforts have significantly contributed to the heritage of Pawtucket. This tradition continues annually, honoring those who have gone above and beyond in their community service and who positively impact our city.

This year, we are excited to host the Pawtucket Hall of Fame Awards Banquet Dinner and Induction Ceremony on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the historic Pawtucket Armory Arts Center, 172 Exchange St., Pawtucket, RI. The event will begin at 6 pm. We will honor our 2024 Pawtucket Hall of Fame Inductees: Robert Andrade (former bank executive and civic-minded volunteer), Merry Caswell (educational leader), Pamela Hughes (volunteer community activist), William D. Mulholland (former public servant and featured Times writer), the late Lou Schwechheimer, Jr. (long-time executive of the Pawtucket Red Sox), and historical inductee Vivian Marshall (film star). Additionally, Rhode Island Congressman Gabe Amo will be recognized with the "Person of the Year Award" for his outstanding contributions over the past year.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Pawtucket Hall of Fame relies on the generosity of supporters like you to continue our mission of celebrating those who enhance the heritage and community spirit of Pawtucket. We invite you to support our cause by placing an ad in our program booklet or making a donation. Our program booklet is a cherished keepsake, filled with information about each honoree, and serves as a significant funding source for this annual celebration. An ad in our booklet, ranging from a business card size to a centerfold, is a wonderful way to contribute to the success of this event.

We also warmly invite you to join us at this prestigious event. The reception begins at 6 pm, with dinner prepared by Pranzi, a premier catering company, served at 7 pm. Tickets are $95 per person ($105 after October 14) and will be available for purchase starting in September. Tables for ten can also be reserved to accommodate groups or families. To secure your tickets, please visit our website at www.pawtuckethalloffame.org or mail your payment to the Pawtucket Hall of Fame Committee, PO Box 3640, Pawtucket, RI 02861. Checks should be made payable to the Pawtucket Hall of Fame Committee. Please note that tickets will not be sold after October 21, nor will they be available at the door.

We have attached a form detailing ticket prices and ad sizes, along with a sample 2023 program to help you visualize the ad layout. Your support is greatly appreciated, and we thank you in advance for your generosity.
